Khabbaz

ROLE: CONCEPT, CREATIVE DIRECTION AND DESIGN
A FUN AND INTERACTIVE BRANDING FOR A KIDS FASHION STORE

“Back in style. Back to play. Khabbaz opened its first shop in 1967.
The iconic brand returned now and introduced its fresh, young and vibrant identity
under the ‘Just for KDZ’ slogan to bring a whole new world of surprises to youngsters.

The new branding featured a playful touch, one that truly captures kids’
unique personality throughout the store.”

Khabbaz holds a very strong emotional bound with all Lebanese kids since the 60s.
The identity highlights this emotional connection that is not only meaningful for kids today
but for parents and grandparents as well. Khabbaz brings emotions of happiness,
surprise, love, satisfaction… These emotions are expressed through the emoticons
language that allows for interaction with the customers and employees .

The overall concept of the store is dedicated to the little ones.
From the entrance, to the play area, to our interactive products, to the customized packaging,
every corner of Khabbaz is just for kids. The handles of all stands are taken from
the various shapes of the icons.

The indoor signs are designed as changeable letters placed on a perforated wall
to different age categories. A careful consideration was given to naming these categories
“Sparkly, princess, cheerful star, frisky champ…” so they communicate directly to the kids.
