Act for the Disappeared

ACT – Act for the disappeared is a Lebanese human rights organization seeking to bring answers to the thousands of families
of the missing and forcibly disappeared in their demand to know the fate and whereabouts of their loved ones.
It also works to initiate a sustainable peace building reconciliation process in Lebanon,
in the interest of bringing recognition to the victims, enabling collective healing and restoring social cohesion.

The design approach highlights the painful absence through the negative space drawing the human silhouette.
The only way left for families to find their loved ones is through identifying DNA.
