The project addresses the constant changing of the ideal female body through time. This ideal is created under social, cultural, technological, economic and environmental factors, and it is contingent, meaning that it is not necessary for our survival. The purpose of this project is to inform women how these ideals were created and let them project themselves in the various ideals, from pre-historic era until today, through a virtual exploration. This app allows women to scan their bodies and transform their avatars into different historical periods, locations, ages and social statuses. Through this app, they can discover how and why the ideal body was morphing, save their projected avatars, and share and customize their alter egos (clothing, background, animations).
